This activity aims to familiarise Third Level Language teachers with the different language levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
The activity will explore the different levels and teachers will be able to manipulate and examine closely the “can-do statements” for the different language skills at the three levels (A, B, C) and the three sublevels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) of the CEFRL.

STEP 1
This first step is exploring the UNDERSTANDING language skills “Listening” and “Reading”. You can explore these two language skills and match their “can-do statements” with the six levels of the CEFRL. Under the Labels “Listening” and “Reading” you will find a link to an activity to work with each of these language skills.
STEP 2
This second step is exploring the SPEAKING language skills “Spoken Interaction” and “Spoken production”. You can explore these two language skills and match their “can-do statements” with the six levels of the CEFRL. Under the Labels “Interaction” and “Speaking” you will find a link to an activity to work with each of these language skills.
STEP 3
This third step is exploring the WRITING language skills. You can explore this language skill and match the “can-do statements” with the six levels of the CEFRL. Under the Labels “Writing” you will find a link to an activity to work with each of these language skills.
