Odette Gabaudan has an MSc in Applied e-Learning and an MSc in Tourism Management. She has over 20 years experience lecturing in French. As the President of the Applied French Association, she plays an active role in the promotion of French in third-level institutions in Ireland.
Her research interest is in e-learning and in particular the integration of technology in her language teaching. She has contributed on this topic to a number of conferences in Ireland and abroad. She is currently working on the development of an integrated French grammar website. In parallel, she is the DIT local implementation leader for the National Forum funded project entitled “Enhancing Digital Literacies for Language Learning and Teaching”. With the support of NDLR’s funding, she also developed an open educational resource for business students of French in Ireland,Travailler en Irlande.
