The theme of Language Learning Strategies and Practices focuses on the acquisition of oral and other language skills:
- intercultural competence

- use of digital resources including CALL resources.
The DigiLanguages team have curated and developed a range of resources to help you explore the area of digital literacy skills for language acquisition. There are a number of self-directed activities that you can carry out in your own time, at your own pace.
The main objectives are to facilitate:
- the practice of language skills
- the development of opportunities for new online language use and practice (telecollaboration, virtual worlds and gaming, synchronous and asynchronous communication, creation of digital and multimodal objects)
- language learners to appropriately use electronic resources to augment their linguistic knowledge (use of online dictionaries, corpora, machine translation, sub-titling, captioning/annotating).
